What happened?
Ransomware on your network?
The first hour decides how much can be saved. Do these three things now, then call us.
- Disconnect, don't shut down. Unplug network cables and turn off Wi-Fi on affected machines. Leave servers running unless the encryption is still spreading.
- Keep everything. Don't delete encrypted files, ransom notes or logs, and don't reinstall anything. They are what recovery is built from.
- Don't contact the attackers yet. Talk to us first. Many businesses get their data back from backups, snapshots and unencrypted areas without paying.
How a recovery works
Book online or call
You get a job number by email straight away. Tell us what happened and which files matter most.
We collect, or you ship
We come to you across Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and Ventura County. From anywhere else, ship the drive to us with your job number.
Evaluation and fixed quote
An engineer finds the fault and tells you what can be recovered and what it costs. Nothing more happens until you say yes.
Recovery from a copy
We image the drive first, repairing it in the cleanroom if it has to be opened, then recover your files from the image.
Check your files
We send you a list of the recovered files to check before anything is returned. Your data comes back on a new drive or as a secure download.

We come to you, or you ship to us
Our engineers work on-site and collect drives across Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and Ventura County. Servers, NAS boxes and ransomware incidents are often handled at your office, so the business can keep running.
Anywhere else in the US, Canada, Mexico and Central and South America, ship the drive to us. We email packing instructions with your job number.
Pricing
The price depends on what has gone wrong, not on how many files you need. You get a fixed quote after the evaluation.
Questions we get asked
Should I try recovery software first?
Only if the drive is healthy and the files were simply deleted. If the drive clicks, beeps, isn't detected or is very slow, recovery software makes it work harder and can turn a recoverable drive into one that isn't. Switch it off and call us.
How long does a recovery take?
Logical recoveries often take two to four business days. Drives that need cleanroom work, and large RAID and NAS systems, take longer. Priority service is available for urgent cases.
Is my data kept confidential?
Yes. Your drive and files are handled only by our engineers, and our working copy is deleted once you confirm you have your data.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. Most of our ransomware, RAID and server work is for businesses, from small offices to studios and production companies. We also offer managed backup and IT support, so it doesn't happen twice.
Can you recover a drive another company couldn't?
Often, yes. Tell us what was tried before, and send the drive with any notes or parts the other company returned.
